The mayors of Montreal and Toronto have signed a partnership agreement they say will allow their cities to work together on issues of common interest.

Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre and Toronto Mayor John Tory signed the agreement this morning at Montreal City Hall.

The two cities will share information on issues including jobs, social development, sustainability and transportation.

Coderre and Tory say they will also conduct joint trade missions overseas and work together to bring a baseball team back to Montreal.

Both mayors will attend a Blue Jays exhibition game in Montreal this afternoon.
