Earth Hour Vaughan At Vaughan City Hall

Snapd Vaughan East
April 2016

Every year, thousands of cities and towns worldwide turn off their lights or any other used electricity for one hour to raise awareness of the causes of climate change and energy conservation. This year, earth hour was on March 19th. Every person who participated, did their part to make a change. A special event at Vaughan City Hall took place to celebrate Earth Hour. Things that were featured were the energy conservation exhibit, refreshments, live entrainment and an environmental jeopardy game for participating Vaughan secondary schools. This was a great opportunity to pick up tips on how to live a more energy cautious lifestyle at home, at work and on the move. It is crucial to learn and understand ways we can do our part in being more eco-friendly. This can only happen with help and efforts put in by everyone!
