VCC Annual Mayor's Luncheon

The Vaughan Chamber of Commerce was pleased to welcome the Hon. Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua, P.C for his sixth address at the Annual Mayor’s Luncheon, which took place at the Venetian Banquet & Hospitality Centre located on 219 Romina Dr. on Feb. 24th in front of 700 people - making it the biggest event ever! A very special thank you goes to the Presenting Sponsor Fazzari & Partners LLP - the event could not have been done without their support. The record breaking attendance at the sold out luncheon event is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce and the outstanding business community in our city. Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua gave an excellent speech focusing on the Toronto-York Spadina Subway and Highway 427 extensions & the much-anticipated Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital including the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre - the city's future 442 acre downtown core. Also announced was the recipient of the VCC Philanthropic Award. Congratulations to Mario Cortellucci of Cortel Group, who is an enlightened leader who demonstrates the very best of what Canadian and Vaughan citizenship is all about.
