Toronto FC II opens season in New York on Sunday

Toronto FC II, a professional development team of Toronto FC of Major League Soccer, that plays its home games out of the Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan, begins its second ever season this Sunday in New York when it takes on Red Bulls II.

TFC II plays in the United Soccer League, a 29-team loop that has teams all over North America and which has several independent clubs as well as 21 teams that are feeder clubs for the Major League Soccer parent squads.

TFC II heads to FC Montreal for its second game on April 9 before coming home to Vaughan for its home opener against Pittsburgh Riverhounds at the OSC facility, 7601 Martin Grove Road, on Sunday, April 17, at 4 p.m.
