22 East Gwillimbury employees topped $100K in 2015

Twenty-two staff from the Town of East Gwillimbury made more than $100,000 last year.

The annual public sector salary disclosure, commonly know as the Sunshine List, includes government and provincially-funded agency employees who make $100,000 in Ontario. It was released today.

East Gwillimbury CAO Thomas Webster made $205,318.88, plus $10,245.77 in taxable benefits last year, the only one of the town employees on the list to crack $200,000.

The next highest on the list was general manager for corporate service Mark Valcic, who made $176,933.58 with $7,750.16 in taxable benefits.

Fire Chief Philip Dawson made $159,654.53, plus $797.99 in taxable benefits.

Mayor Virginia Hackson also made the list hauling, in $126,035.24, with $9,542.83 in taxable benefits for her work as mayor and regional councillor.
