York Regional Council Supports Toque Tuesdays!

Members of York Regional Council are always happy to get together and throw on their toques in support of 360°kids’ Toque Tuesday campaign. Toque Tuesday is an annual campaign to raise awareness and funds to help end youth homelessness. Whether you see them or not, there is an estimated 300 homeless youth across the region at any given time and only 27 emergency shelter beds available to them.

All proceeds from the $10 donation toques are directed into 360 kids’ programs and services benefiting the homeless and at-risk youth of York Region. This is 360 kids 5th year participating in Toque Tuesday. The campaign is ran by local organizations, social groups and schools to raise funds and awareness on behalf of 360 kids.
