McDonald's Grand Opening Celebration

At the beginning of the New Year, one of “the world’s leading quick-service restaurant brands” welcomed a new addition in the Vaughan community.

On January 10th, 2016, friends, family and community members joined to celebrate the opening of the new Cityview McDonald’s at 3500 Major Mackenzie Dr. West. Special guests included Ward 3 Councillor Rosanna Defrancesca, Regional Councillor Gino Rosati and, of course, Ronal McDonald himself. To kick things off, there was an official ribbon cutting, congratulatory speeches and live music provided by the talented students from Tommy Douglas Secondary School.

Now, after a few weeks in business, the new Cityview McDonald’s continues to work hard at ensuring that it maintains its commitment “to making a positive impact locally—from providing good food, customer service and job opportunities, to supporting local charities and other ways of giving back,” as stated on McDonald’s official website.

We would like to congratulate the team at the new Cityview McDonald's for this monumental accomplishment and we wish the team many years of success!
