One man is dead following a house fire this morning in Vaughan.
Emergency crews responded to a call at 11:08 a.m. Wednesday, for a home on Dante Court near Weston and Langstaff roads.
Firefighters were met with heavy smoke upon entering the residence, said Deryn Rizzi, deputy fire chief at the Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service. The smoke was also visible from outside the house.
Firefighters found the male victim after conducting a primary search of the residence.
