On Nov. 17th, over 300 people attended the Grand Opening event KPMG’s office at the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. It was an evening of great conversations and networking with Vaughan's Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua, KPMG's new CEO, Elio Luongo, and the firm's leadership team.

As the flagship tenant of the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, KPMG has 136,800 square feet on the top six floors, bringing over 400 KPMG employees to the York Region.

With a goal to reduce the overall environmental footprint, the KPMG Vaughan office is Gold LEED-certified, in all aspects and has the latest state-of-the-art technology, including adjustable standing desks and phone-enabled laptops with wireless phone lines that move as people change rooms.

The office space provides 360 views of the city and communal access to sunlight with offices and meeting spaces on the inside. With the design principle of collaboration in mind, KPMG has created collaboration spaces with reflection chairs on every floor that are connected by an internal staircase, allowing employees to collaborate with other groups on different floors.
