Dufferin Clark Library Hosts A Holocaust Survivor's Testimony - Rose Lipszyc

Last month, Nov. 2nd-9th was Holocaust Education Week for ages 12 and up. On Nov. 2nd at Dufferin Clark Library guest speaker: Rose Lipszyc shared her personal testimonial and story about surviving the Holocaust. Rose Lipszyc was born in Poland in 1929. In 1942, she escaped forced deportation and survived by posing as a teenage Polish child worker in Germany. After the war, Rose immigrated to Israel and later to Canada. All of the children gathered together as they listened to the story Rose told.
