Devron Development is giving away a Tesla Model X car this weekend as part of its embrace of the electric car.

Devron’s newest condo project, The Vanguard (at Yonge Street and Grandview Avenue in Thornhill), will be built with infrastructure to house electric vehicle charging stations, including Tesla Destination Wall Chargers to accommodate different makes of electric vehicles.

There are now four Tesla Destination Wall Chargers at The Vanguard Presentation Centre for Tesla owners to use.

The giveaway of the car is this Saturday, Nov. 5.

Purchasers and walk-ins (no purchase necessary) are eligible to participate in the contest.

People need to arrive between noon and 2 p.m. to get their ballot and drop it in the raffle drum.

The draw will take place at 2:30 p.m. A Tesla Model X will be on display, with complimentary food and refreshments served.

Regular walk-ins or interested purchasers are required to register and schedule a tour at The Vanguard Sales Centre between Oct. 15 and Nov. 3.

The Vanguard building will be a 25-storey condo building in a prime location at the corner of Yonge Street and Grandview Avenue in Markham, just north of Steeles Avenue.
