Mobile Youth Walk-in Clinic - Official Launch Ceremony

In partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association – York and South Simcoe, 360 kids, and the City of Vaughan, a mobile youth walk-in clinic is now available at the Dufferin Clark Community Centre, Thursdays from 2 to 8 p.m. The soft launch of this pilot project was on September 8th, 2016, marking the first MOBYSS in Vaughan. The mobile clinic offers FREE non-judgmental, confidential medical care.

The official launch ceremony took place on October 13th at the Dufferin Clark Community Centre as the Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua, dignitaries and the public were present.

MOBYSS (Mobile York South Simcoe) offers compassionate, youth-centered health services such as counselling, support and referrals from a mental health worker, peer support specialist and nurse practitioner. Services are free and geared for youth aged 12 – 25. No appointments or health card necessary.
