Fire Prevention Week: "Don't Wait-Check The Date"

Fire Prevention Week took place last month in Vaughan. In recognition of Fire Prevention Week, an annual public health and safety campaign, residents are reminded to stay informed and take proactive steps to increase their fire safety at home. The theme of this year's campaign, "Don't wait - check the date", Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service encourages residents to ensure working smoke alarms are located on every level of the home and expired ones are replaced. It is important we are all informed for our very own safety and for the safety of others.
