The City of Vaughan is a proud participant of Culture Days, a free national celebration of arts and culture. This much-enjoyed weekend event celebrated Vaughan’s diverse and multi-talented cultural groups, organizations, individual artists, creators and performers as they offered hands-on, interactive activities to all residents and visitors free of charge.

Vaughan Culture Days aimed to foster appreciation and support of the artistic and cultural life in Vaughan; and promote direct interaction between creators and the community, as a key to increasing understanding and appreciation for arts and culture citywide.

Some featured activities from September 30th-October 2nd included: Artists on site at Vaughan Mills with Façade Academy crating interactive artworks, guests recording a video or their own music at Vaughan Public Libraries, tours at McMichael, Magnotta Winery and Kortright Centre, full weekend of creativity at the JEH MacDonald House and a chance to create with Recycled objects at the Schwartz/Reisman Centre.
