The 1st Annual Summer BBQ With M.P. Franesco Sorbara

Francesco Sorbara, Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Vaughan-Woodbridge hosted a community B.B.Q. on August 27th from 1pm-6pm at the Veneto Center in Woodbridge.

The first annual BBQ was open to all residents of Vaughan-Woodbridge and featured musical acts, children’s activities including the Earth Rangers and a fire truck. Hamburgers, hotdogs and sausages were served as well as a wide selection of vegetarian and Halal dishes.

Families and friends came on out for an afternoon filled with entertainment, an onsite fire truck, food, drinks and much more. Canned and non-perishable food donations were accepted and given to the Vaughan Food Bank. This was a terrific way to end off the summer season.

A special thank you goes out to the organizers Joseph Gulizia, Nadia Nascimben and all of the event volunteers for a job well done!
