The Inaugural Canadian Flag Raising Ceremony took place at The Jaffari Community Centre on September 9th at 2:30 p.m. The event launched the Canadian-Muslim Vote’s (TCMV) Flag campaign, which aimed to raise a Canadian flag in front of mosques across the country in celebration on Canada’s 150th birthday in July 2017. This was a wonderful celebration of our Canadian pride. The following guests that attended: Councillor Sandra Yeung-Racco and Members of Parliament: Deb Schulte, Leona Alleslev and Majid Jowhari.
