The Town of Richmond Hill has unveiled its new website, one that promises to be clean, simple and easy to navigate.

While the address, RichmondHill.ca, is still the same, the new website includes improved search and navigation tools, improved ability to connect with mobile devices, an interactive events calendar and a searchable Parks, Trails and Facilities directory.

As well, demographic and topic-based landing pages will centralize information related to specific residents and topics of interest.

“We created the new website with your needs in mind,” said Mayor Dave Barrow. “We want to make it easier for you to find what you’re looking for online. We’ve also added new self-service applications and have made it easier to communicate with us.”

The new website incorporates feedback from multiple user-testing sessions that took place in the past year.

A YouTube video explains features of the new website.

Residents are encouraged to visit the website and provide feedback by clicking the Feedback button on the right-hand side of each webpage.

Comments can also be sent through social media, by calling Access Richmond Hill at 905-771-8800 or by emailing communications@richmondhill.ca.
