Niagara Regional council agreeing it's time the province dealt with the controversial issue of ride sharing services like Uber.

Council throwing its support last night behind a motion by Grimsby councillor Tony Quirk asking the Wynne Liberals to come up with a uniform rules for all municaplities to follow that is also fair to exisiting taxi and limo services.

Quirk fears without provincial leadership on the issue, it will result in a patchwork of regulations across Ontario.
