Patterson School students

This image shows Patterson School Students, in Patterson, 1915-1919. Taken near the present day intersection of Bathurst Street and Major Mackenzie Drive. At one time, the village of Patterson had more children attending school than Richmond Hill. Patterson was a “Company Town” because it was owned by Patterson & Bros., manufacturers of agricultural implements.
